# How do I assign a Role Set to a User?

## How do I assign an existing Role Set to a User?

If the Role Set you wish to assign to a user, does NOT exist, first create the Role Set. *Learn more at: *

1. [Visit the iluminr website for your region](https://help.catalysttech.co/en/articles/7033415-how-do-i-access-iluminr#h_ee61c392fc)
2. Log in with your iluminr credentials.
3. In the menu, expand **Settings,** then click **General.**

5. In the Response Team and Role Allocation section:
   
     1. tick the **team(s)** the user belongs to;
     2. use the first drop-down to select their **Role** on that team; and
     3. in the second drop-down select their allocation as **Primary**.
6. Click the **update **button to save the changes.
