# See one participant's results

## Everything you need to know about opening one participant in a single player report and reading their signals and answers, as an admin.

A group average can hide the people who need the most support. Open any participant in a single player report to see how they did on each signal compared with everyone else, what iluminr Intelligence noticed in their answers, and how each answer scored.

*Opening a participant and scrolling through their results*

### Open a participant

1. Open the deployment, then open the report from the session card.
2. Select the **PARTICIPANTS** tab.
3. Find the person in the table. You can search by name or job title, or use the status chips (**All**, **Completed**, **In progress**, **Not started**).
4. Select the row, or the **\>** at the end of it.

Anyone with access to the deployment can open a participant's results.

To move between people without going back to the list, use the **‹** and **›** arrows next to **Participant 1 of 40** at the top right. To return to the table, select **Back to participants**.

### Read the header

The header shows the participant's name and job title, and a status chip. **Completed · analysed** means they finished and their answers have been analysed. Next to it you'll see:

- **Completed**: the date they finished.
- **Time taken**: how long they took, with the group average beside it (for example, **6 min** avg 10 min).
- **Questions answered**: how many questions they answered.

### Read the iluminr Intelligence summary

![The participant profile: iluminr Intelligence summary on the left, signal cards on the right](https://help.iluminr.io/hubfs/kb-images/oct-2026/3-participant-profile.png)

*The participant profile: iluminr Intelligence summary on the left, signal cards on the right*

On the left, under **ILUMINR INTELLIGENCE**, is a short plain-language summary of how this person did.

Below it, **WHAT IT NOTICED** lists the things that stood out in their answers, with a count. Each item has a tag:

- **All** means it applies across the whole attempt.
- A question number, such as **Q2** or **Q3**, means it comes from that question.

The first few items show by default. Select **Show all** (for example, **Show all 15**) to see the rest. Select **Copy summary** to copy the summary so you can paste it somewhere else.

The summary is written by AI and is labelled **Generated by iluminr Intelligence**. Check important details against the answers before you act on them.

### Read the signal cards

On the right are four cards, one for each signal: **Readiness**, **Confidence**, **Alignment** and **Blind spots**.

The **Readiness** card ("Preparedness to act for real") is the largest. It shows:

- The participant's level and score out of 100, for example **Developing 26/100**.
- Where they sit in the group, for example **Ahead of 10% of the 40 people analysed**.
- A dot plot of everyone who was analysed, with this participant highlighted. The plot also marks the **Median** and the **Top 10%**, so you can see how far they are from the middle and from the strongest people.

The **Confidence**, **Alignment** and **Blind spots** cards show the level and score for each.

Every card has a criteria dropdown (for example, **5 criteria**). Open it to see the criteria that make up that signal.

For Readiness, Confidence and Alignment, a higher score is better. The levels are Limited, Developing, Moderate, Strong and Advanced. For **Blind spots**, **Lower is better**. The levels are Minimal, Low, Moderate, Elevated and Critical.

To learn how the scores and levels are worked out, see [**How the single player report is calculated**](https://help.iluminr.io/knowledge/how-the-single-player-report-is-calculated?hsLang=en).

### Go question by question

Scroll down to **Question by question**. It lists each question in the order the participant answered it, with their level and score on each signal for that question.

- Choose **Compact** to see one line per question, or **With responses** to also see what they chose or wrote.
- A signal isn't measured on every question. The column header shows how many questions it was measured on, for example **on 1 of 13 questions**. A striped cell means that signal wasn't measured on that question.
- For Blind spots, the header reminds you that **lower is better**.

![Question by question in Compact view: one row per question with a level and score for each signal. Striped cells were not measured.](https://help.iluminr.io/hubfs/kb-images/oct-2026/participant-question-list.jpg)

*Question by question in Compact view: one row per question with a level and score for each signal. Striped cells were not measured.*

To see where an answer fell short:

1. Select a question row, or one of its scores, to open it.
2. Read the participant's answer. Below it, a line such as **13 of 40 chose this** shows how many people gave the same answer.
3. Read what iluminr Intelligence made of the answer. Select **How the AI reached this** to see its reasoning.
4. Read the signal panel. It shows the level and score for the signal you opened, the question behind it (for Blind spots, "What did they miss that they should have caught?") and each criterion with its result. For Blind spots, each gap is marked, for example **Showed it** or **Partly**. A **Stood out** tag points to the criterion that mattered most.
5. Compare with the group. A line such as **Everyone on Q2: Low 21 →** shows the group's result on the same question. Select it to open that question in the report.

Some questions count more toward a participant's score than others. The weight shows on the open question, for example **Counts 0.6× toward the attempt score**.

### How this assessment was produced

At the bottom of the profile, open **How this assessment was produced** to see version details of the analysis behind this participant's results.

### Ask AI about this participant

Select **Ask AI · about** followed by the participant's name (for example, **Ask AI · about Kenji**) in the header. The button stays at the top of the page as you scroll. Ask AI then answers questions about this participant only, such as where they need the most support. See [**Ask AI on a report**](https://help.iluminr.io/knowledge/ask-ai-on-a-report?hsLang=en).
