Find the right people for your response by using the Call Hunt team activation capability
When a team has had an escalation pathway established, you will be able to select a team, confirm all or which roles you would like to activate and issue you a Team Activation that will Hunt through the defined escalation pathway to Activate the appropriate team member
- New Notification
- Create a new notification OR Activate teams
- Activate Teams
- Ensure the message type is Activate Teams
- Ensure the message type is Activate Teams
- Enable Call hunt
- At the bottom of the compose section, switch the Enable Call Hunt Toggle to Yes
- Confirm the Response Timeout (how long will it wait before progressing to the next level if no response is received)
- Review and confirm any additional message content
- Call hunt has a predefined message that will automatically populate the recipients name, role they are being activated for and what level in the escalation path they are
- You can add more information if you would like to the message

- Select a team
- When call hunt is enabled you will only be able to select a Team that has an established escalation pathway (your iluminr admin can establish this)

- Confirm which roles you want to activate
- You can select ALL Role or hand pick specific roles based on the situation
- In the expanded menu you can also review and confirm which members are in what escalation levels before proceeding by selecting the + option next to Role Name

- Select a Channel
- You can choose all channels or from available channels
- SMS
- MS Teams (when MS Teams is connected to your iluminr account)

- Monitor the progress in real time
- From the Communications dashboard you can identify if a call hunt is in progress
- In the message detail view you can review the progress of each role being activated.
