How do I invite Learners to self-enrol in a deployment?
Learn how to enable self-enrolment for learners into a squad for Single Player Microsimulations.
What is self enrolment?
The Self-Enrol feature allows Learners to join the deployment using a public link. Once enabled, you'll be able to share the enrolment link with your Learners. This reduces the need for manual Learner creation by Admin Users.
How does self enrolment work?
Self-enrol adds learners to the entire squad. If multiple Single Player Microsimulations exist within that squad, the learner will have access to all Single Player Microsimulations within that deployment.
Please consider the items below prior to inviting learners to self-enrol.
- Self-Enrol links do NOT expire.
- No approval step is required before a Learn Self-Enrols.
How can I enable Learners to self-enrol in a squad?
- In the navigational men, expand Microsimulations, and select Deployments.
- Click into an existing Deployment, or click + New Deployment.

- In the deployment, click Self-Enrol which will launch a pop-up.

- When you are ready to enable the Self-Enrol option for Learners
- In the pop-up, click the Enable Self-Enrolment button.

- Click the Copy Link button, and share it with your Learners via your preferred channel of communication (email, MS Teams chat or any other channel) . Please remember to share this link wisely as it does not expire, and no approval step is required for the recipient to Self-Enrol with the link provided.

- Once you have copied and shared the link, click DONE to close the pop-up.

- Upon clicking the Self Enrol link, Learners will then be prompted to enter their first name, last name, email address, and click Enrol. They will then be added to the deployment and receive access via their Learnspace.

How do Learners access their Learnspace?
Learners can access the Learnspace via:
- their information email; and
- the platform login.

How does this impact existing deployments?
Learners will no longer receive individual emails for each Single Player Microsimulation at initial invitation; instead, they will receive ONE invitation directing them to their Learnspace.
If a Learner is invited to a new Single Player Microsimulation, they will receive a notification.
